Labour supply & placement

1. Unskilled Labour

Workers with no particular skills and likely no formal education. Work involves simple duties, often requiring physical strength. Target: Zero education up to KCPE. e.g., Factory worker, Warehouse worker.

2. Semi-Skilled Labour

Formal education but no advanced training; Certificate or diploma qualifications. Monitor and perform repetitive tasks. Target: Form four leavers and certificate holders. e.g., Production operator, Machine operator, Electrician's assistant.

3. Skilled Labour

Specialized training & skills, advanced diploma or degree. Capable of exercising judgment. Target: Diploma/Degree holders. e.g., Law enforcement, Financial technicians, Nurses, Sales reps, Electricians.

4. Professionals

Individuals with higher degree of skills, such as doctors, accountants, engineers.
